When you call with us a vet emergency our qualified vet will:
- Ask you to describe your pet’s symptoms
- Assess the urgency of the situation
- Advise you whether you need to bring your pet in for treatment or if you can care for them at home until your usual vet is open
It’s a good idea to know any medications your pet is taking or the vaccinations they have had. This will help the vet decide on the treatment your pet needs. If you don´t have a vehicle or are unable to travel to one of our vet emergency centres in Brussels our animal ambulance can collect your pet if the vet considers it necessary.
Peace of mind
A vet emergency can be scary for you and your pet. Knowing you have access to out of hours treatment is reassuring, although hopefully, you’ll never need it.
